Building:Bit – Construction Kit for the BBC micro:bit – This programmable building block kit is based around the BBC micro:bit and can be used to create 9 different programmable robots. The Building:Bit kit comes with documentation to help you build each of the robots. This kit includes a micro:bit expansion board, battery, motor and other electronic components. In total the Building:Bit kit has around ~260 building blocks. A big advantage with this kit is that it combines the micro:bit with various electronics and mechanical components. The electronic components combined with building blocks allows you to create interesting and challenge projects around the BBC micro:bit. This kit offers a combination of mechanical making challenges, electronics circuit building challenges and coding challenges all combined into one single platform.

Please Note – This kit includes small parts and is not suitable for kids below 8 years of age.

You can write programs and control your robots, create mechanical pulleys that are controlled by the BBC micro:bit and get users to control them using the micro:bit. In addition, the building blocks provided are also compatible with LEGO, if you are interested in building blocks and want to learn programming, this building block  kit is definitely a great choice. The Building:Bit kit for the BBC micro:bit is a great way to dive into the awesome world of robotics and get started with your own STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) learning journey.
