Who doesn’t love Shaun the Sheep, the sheep with some real attitude. I remember watching the show with my daughter as she was growing up and loving every episode. In-fact even now, (rare times) when i a channel surfing, happen to stumble across a Shaun the Sheep episode and I’ve got to watch the episode….the pull is just so strong!!!!
So what’s the hullabaloo about – Our awesome friends at CodeClub International have teamed up with producers of Shaun the Sheep and put together the “Mission to Space” competition. The competition is meant to celebrate the launch of the new film A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. The competition deadline has now been extended until Friday 1 November, to give folks even more time to get involved.
Here’s a brief on the competition from the CodeClub website, “Complete our special Scratch project, ‘Shaun the Sheep: Mission to Space’, to create an animation that shows Lu-La going home and tells a story about her adventures in space with her friend Shaun the Sheep.
Entries will be judged on:
– How well they tell a story
– Coding skills
– How well you follow the project instructions
The competition project is available for you to complete in eight different languages. Make sure you follow the project instructions while creating the entry, and we also want to see your imagination! Show us how you can remix the project, whether that’s by telling an interesting story about Shaun, or by adding your own code to the project. You can download all the instructions for taking part as a printable one-pager at rpf.io/shaun-info.
